There would be no Christmas song this year. So it was decided. At least Tobias thought. But then at the beginning of October the sound file and the message from Johan arrived - "I have made a song that will be this year's Christmas song."

Ok, so Tobias had no say in the matter. It just had to be that way. Tobias took the basic idea and embroidered out the melody and lyrics and sang it. Johan made the arrangements and the result was "Christmas time is you".

Unlike last year's "A Wishful Christmas", which was an unfulfilled love dream, this year's contribution to the Christmas carol, despite its melancholy tone, is more hopeful in its message. The song's message is that music, community and humanity can be the cornerstones of Christmas.

Musically, the song follows the theme that Eckman & Borelius embarked on during the year, i.e. piano, vocals and sparingly with other instruments.
